We are looking into a way we could deploy a Wordpress site for every teacher in our county. We have an LDAP server and would like to use that to authenticate users. Or we can hardcode the accounts. We just need to site creation to be automatic and only want to give sites to our teachers. We can't feasibly set up over 5000 Wordpress sites by hand, so I was wondering if there is a way to create the accounts on the fly as users need/want them. Does anyone know if this is possible?
