Jeff, That's an interesting article and perspective. But my purpose is to use the laptop/netbook cart as an additional lab. Right now I have 2 computer labs and I can't get all the classes scheduled into the lab when teachers are working on online projects. This past year I had teachers working on Museum Box, Xtranormal, Glogster and VoiceThread all in the same time frame, as well as several classes doing research. They were fighting over open lab spots. I don't plan to give students the laptops to take notes in class, this would strictly be for online projects.
