Folks: The MUA presents its first zoomable poster which allows viewers to zoom into not just one image but a set of images and text. This lets the viewer review more material without having to click through several pages. The subject for our first experiment with this technology is the 2010 February field school held by Flinders University in Streaky Bay and Sceale Bay, Australia. Principal Investigator Mark Staniforth directed the students to produce elements for inclusion on the poster. Topics and images cover their search for new shipwrecks, underwater work on a historic jetty, information on a digital heritage trail for a whaling stations, a plan view for the shipwreck Orlante, and sample entries from student field books. We hope you'll give the zoomable poster a try and check out what the students accomplished during this recent field school down under. You can view the poster by clicking on the link on our home page here: http://www.themua.org Best regards, T.
