Dear Edtech P.S. Re: Zero-time setup: Free secure group calendar Zip with Calendar Kit in it now contains brief Directions.txt This is good so all need not use the johnresig14 password -- which might not really be secure! Plus, a couple other things should be done; still it takes minutes to make changes, then upload, then ready-to-use (so it is still virtually instant). I might as well put the Directions here, too: Directions: Appropriately change the line, header("Location: http://mynichecomputing.org/newJScal/note.html"); in logout.php Find where it looks for the password johnresig14 and change to your password. (in CALsetSessJQUG.php) Find where it says $myFile = "uploads/caldatajohnresig14.txt"; and change to: $myFile = "uploads/caldataYOURPASSWORD.txt"; (in getTXT.php , CALsetSessJQUG.php and saveIt.php) Change the name of the caldatajohnresig14.txt file in the uploads folder to: caldataYOURPASSWORD.txt Find the 2 locations in calendarR5.js (lines 79 1nd 80) where they end , + '-07:00' + '"'; and change that to represent your time zone. (-07:00 IS Central time) Regards, Lorin Larson (webnaster, mynichecomputing.org) --- Edtech Archives, posting guidelines and other information are at: http://www.h-net.msu.edu/~edweb Please include your name, email address, and school or professional affiliation in each posting.
