Dear EDTECH readers, I imagine that e-list subscribers are more likely than most audiences to adopt e-Readers such as Kindle or Nook or Sony-eReader. Please share the ways that you channel professional reading into your e-reader. A few magazines and blogs may be available in (paid) subscription form; fewer still are the academic journals that are ready-made for portable e-Reading. Online services like www.instapaper.com let one aggregate Web content for use on e-readers, as does the conversion program, www.calibre.com but in these early days we live in, it still requires early adopters to be resourceful and dogged to funnel content onto their device of choice. So for the interest of those who haven't yet taken the plunge into portable e-reading, please share the ways that your device now fits into your reading stream. Sincerely, Guven Witteveen, sjmi_y@yahoo dotcom Independent Scholar and Curriculum Producer --- Edtech Archives, posting guidelines and other information are at: http://www.h-net.msu.edu/~edweb Please include your name, email address, and school or professional affiliation in each posting.
