Hi Barbara, I've been following the topic of e-portfolios for a while. Will each student have his own Google Site for his e-portfolio? To my knowledge, that is the only way to provide a secure environment for just that student and the teacher to edit and view it. A good resource for information on Google Sites e-Portfolios is Helen Barrett's web site. http://sites.google.com/site/eportfolios/ If you were looking for a single location for all the portfolios, something like PB Wiki would be good as it provides many levels of permissions, down to the page level. Another option is the open source Mahara, but it would require installation on a server. http://mahara.org/ Just food for thought... -Alix Alix E.
