I have been cloning my lab of Mac OS 10.4.11 machines using one machine as a source, and firewire to connect to a destination machine. I am thinking there should be a way I could create a DVD or something on an external drive that I could use to do the cloning, so that I could use my source machine as a workstation. I use Carbon Copy Cloner, the hard drive I am cloning contains 19.2 GB of information/system/programs. Can I create a bootable DVD, or something on an external drive that would boot the machine and allow me to "clone" the harddrive to the image I want? I have researched, but not found just what I am looking for. Thank you!
