Maybe I am coming in on this conversation a little late, but I find your comments confusing. Though lecture is probably one of the least effective ways of teaching, some is necessary. Video, if done right, can be one of the most powerful ways to communicate to our students. Having a powerful video can result in some serious and interesting dialogue.
