Bev, I have been working with our Social Studies teachers for a long time on using the technology applications I teach to complete projects on their curriculum. We have made powerpoints on Ancient Greece and Rome. We have created web pages and movies on the Presidential Election and explorers. I teach the tech skills and they provide the topic. My 8th graders this year did movies on the American Revolution. I was able to reinforce the subject matter they were taught by the Social Studies teachers. Here is a link to our videos from last year: http://www.bucyrus.k12.oh.us/bucms/Presidential_Election_Campaign_Video.htm Hope this helps.
