As a former teacher in the k-12 arena, I used a great deal of Tom Snyder simulations with my students. Titles like National Inspirer, Decisions, Decisions, Mapmaker's Toolkit, Time Machine and others really helped enhance the curriculum. http://tomsnyder.com/ Sunburst also has some great applications. Of course, Social Networking (Blogs, Wikis, List Servs, Voicethread) has opened up many avenues to build a wonderful global community for students in all subject areas. there are thousands of web sites that supplement all topics.
