Wonderful folks, I posted a survey earlier this afternoon. BUT it has glitches that prevent some people from being able to answer the questions for each row under the general headings. SO I REVISED THE SURVEY and hope you will participate using this new link. If you already responded, I beg your patience and hope you will respond again so I can correctly analyze the data. Here is the new link and I am pasting in the original posting below for your information. THANKS SO MUCH for your patience! NEW LINK: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/surveyteachertechuse_revised PREVIOUS POSTING Dear collective cranium, I wrote an article recently called "What Do Kids Know About Technology?" which got more response than anything I have written recently. For that article I used information collected from a survey I conducted using TLC, LM_NET and EDTECH, along with other research and my own thoughts. These three groups comprise a powerful combination of great minds! Anyway, I want to follow up with an article in the same vein, but asking what TEACHERS know. Of course I am aware that there are wide variances, as with kids, but I am asking overall. Yep, I did construct a survey for this investigation and would be very pleased if you might find time to answer. I have some preconceived ideas and am eager to see how right/wrong I may be. Here is the link and thanks in advance if you can find time to participate: (LINK REMOVED) Thanks in advance and enjoy your spring break, whenever it comes around! Cheers, mabell PS Yep, in the future I will do one about administrators... -- ********************************* "Try Curiosity!"--Dorothy Parker ********************************* Dr. Mary Ann Bell Associate Professor Sam Houston State University A Member of the Texas State University System Department of Library Science lis_mah@shsu.edu drmaryannbell@gmail.com --- Edtech Archives, posting guidelines and other information are at: http://www.h-net.msu.edu/~edweb Please include your name, email address, and school or professional affiliation in each posting.
